POSTCARDS FROM SEOUL

Slow mornings, snowy gardens, and streets lined with tradition. Join founder Rowie Moore on her recent trip to Seoul - where to eat, wander, and stay in a city that blends old and new like no other.

When I travel, I always seek out gardens, galleries, museums, and markets - places that reveal a city’s rhythm. But Seoul is immense, and even after a week, I felt like I’d only just begun to understand its magic. A city of contrast and calm, tradition and modernity - every corner held something new to discover.

STAY

We stayed in a traditional Hanok-style house - calm, warm, and such a special way to experience Seoul. We found our home for the week at Butler Lee Hanok Stays - book here or via Airbnb.

EAT

Seoul’s food scene was a standout - fresh, vibrant, and rich in flavour. Every meal felt considered, and always came with something pickled or fermented.

ORENO RAMEN INSA

A post-snow visit to Changgyeonggung Palace led us here, and it was some of the best ramen I’ve ever had.

LUCYD

A go-to for early breakfast (opens 9:30am), when most of the city is still waking up.

CAFE SINOLA

Don’t miss the French toast. Trust me.

PACK

From snowfall strolls to steamy ramen stops - layer up with AW25 essentials: merino, cotton, and textural pieces built for the season.

There’s so much to see in Seoul, but these were a few favourites...

CHANGGYEONGGUNG PALACE

Especially beautiful in the snow.

Wander the small streets between both palaces for traditional houses, galleries, and cafes.

CHEONGGYECHEON STREAM

NAMSAN CABLE CAR

The best way to take in the city from above.

ARARIO GALLERY + NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MODERN & CONTEMPORARY ART

Two must-visits for contemporary art lovers.

ISADONG SPA & SAUNA
